Call for Bids - “New” Gender Equality Grant in Equestrian Sport

In a bid to promote and encourage gender equality in equestrian sport around the world, in 2020 FEI Solidarity will grant CHF 20,000 to one specific NF project or programme whose main aim and focus is the promotion of gender equality on and/or off the field. This includes, but is not limited to, programmes in relation to governance and administration, athletes participation, coaches, officials, grooms, farriers, etc.

The project/programme to benefit from the grant will be selected by the FEI Solidarity Committee at its annual meeting. Interested NFs are requested to send their bid to Jacqueline Braissant at FEI Solidarity by Wednesday 1 July 2020

Please kindly note that the deadline may be subject to modification as the current pandemic situation evolves.

ESEEs Link with Education of FEI Officials

    Equivalency with “FEI” status
National Federations that have organised Equestrian Sports Educative Events/ESEEs (education of national Officials) with the help of FEI Solidarity and have in the continuity developed their own national education & certification system, will be eligible to qualify for equivalency with the FEI Level 2 course/status.

We therefore encourage NFs without a proper national education system to work with their technical committees to achieve this objective. We also encourage NFs to exchange knowledge on a regional basis, for example: NFs with such a system to share their experience with the ones with no system.

For more information, please contact Jacqueline Braissant, FEI Solidarity Director.
