Everyone involved in our sport, has the innate right to be safe and treated with respect. The FEI will not tolerate any forms of abuse or misconduct as this goes against the best interests of our sport. The same applies to horses and it is our collective responsibility to be the guardians of horse welfare within equestrian sport.
Misconduct can occur in different ways and should always be reported. In order to facilitate the reporting process of any behaviour or incident that breeches the FEI Rules and/or the integrity of equestrian sport, we have created different categories with the appropriate reporting and contact information.
By clicking on the different categories below, you will have access to further information, as well as the appropriate reporting process.
Horse Welfare is the foundation stone of the FEI, and the collective responsibility of everyone involved in equestrian sport. Just like humans, horses have a right to be safe and treated with respect, and the FEI is committed to ensuring that these principles are upheld at all times. This is why, we encourage everyone to speak up and report any suspicion of horse abuse.

Equestrian sport should provide a place where everyone involved can experience joy, dedication, achievement and success, in the spirit of good horsemanship. Everyone involved in our sport should be safe and treated with respect. Unfortunately, some individuals may cross the line and display harassing or abusive behaviour, with potentially devastating consequences.
Since 1 January 2019, the FEI has a Safeguarding Policy Against Harassment and Abuse in place in order promote the welfare of our community and an increasingly safe equestrian environment. This policy provides detailed information all around the subject of safeguarding and what constitutes violations to safeguarding.
When violations to safeguarding arise, it is important to recognise them and to speak up.
Should you wish to report an incident, please fill out the FEI Incident Report Form and send it by email to: safeguarding@fei.org
The use of substances with the potential to affect equine performance, health or welfare and/or with a high potential for misuse are contrary to the integrity of equestrian sport and the welfare of horses. It is crucial that we protect our horses and the integrity of equestrian sport, which is why we strongly encourage you to speak up should you be suspicious of or witness an equine doping violation.
To report any matters of concern in relation to equine anti-doping, please send an email to legal@fei.org.
The FEI believes in Fair Play and in Clean Sport. As part of a collaborative worldwide movement for doping-free sport led by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the FEI, in collaboration with the International Testing Agency (ITA), contributes to protect fair competition and athletes' health through education and the promotion of anti-doping programs. Unfortunately, this does not discourage everyone from committing doping violations, which is why it is important you have the courage to speak up, should you be suspicious or witness a doping violation. With your help, we will be able to increasingly keep our sport clean.
Please be aware that the reporting process to the FEI is re-directed to the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Speak Up platform and the International Testing Agency’s Reveal Platform. You can use the platform of your choice to report any concerns in relation to human doping violations.
