As one of the main driving forces in equestrian sport, the FEI provides several platforms each year where, together with all stakeholders and members of the equestrian community, debates and discussion revolving around the future of equestrian sport take place.
FEI Sports Forum…
Takes place in April in Lausanne each year. This meeting provides an opportunity not only to discuss equestrian sport, but also the challenges the entire sporting industry is facing and even more generally, how we can be leaders in our domain and improve our performance. The FEI Sports Forum opens the annual discussion process, and many proposals arise from these two meeting days, proposals which are reviewed and refined throughout the year and then possibly submitted at the FEI General Assembly for voting.
FEI General Assembly…
Governs the overall direction, development and management of the FEI’s disciplines worldwide. Elections are held at the General Assembly and decisions are taken, by vote, on changes to FEI Statutes, long-term strategies, FEI budgets and important equestrian matters. The FEI General Assembly takes place in another location every year.
