President’s message:

As President of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), I am delighted to present our Strategy for the next 4 years, 2025-2029. It is an honour to lead an organisation that is at the heart of a sport cherished by millions worldwide, a sport that exemplifies the profound connection between humans and horses.

Our journey is one of passion, perseverance and shared values. We strive to ensure that equestrian sport remains an example of excellence, integrity and innovation. 

Guided by the objectives and principles defined in our Statutes, we present to you the Vision and Mission that will serve as the cornerstone of all our activities to drive the ethical and sustainable growth of our sport.

The Strategy comprises five pillars within which you will find eleven Strategic Objectives with specific Actions relating to each one. Each Strategic Objective, and their Actions, support the Vision and Mission, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of equestrian sport.

In addition, our seven Values guide our daily actions and decisions. They remind us that our sport is not only about competition, but about fostering a global community that respects and celebrates this unique bond between horse and rider.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the future of equestrian sport. We are committed to creating opportunities for all, from the grassroots level to the highest levels of competition. By laying a strong focus on equine welfare, athlete safeguarding, celebrating inclusiveness, acting sustainably and embracing innovation, we are paving the way for a brighter future.

In closing, I extend my deepest gratitude to our whole community - National Federations, Athletes, Officials, Organisers, Owners, Grooms, FEI Staff, FEI Board, FEI Standing Committees and to our Partners - for your steadfast dedication and passion. Together, we will continue to carry forward the legacy of our sport while driving it towards new heights.

Let us gallop forward, united in our Vision and Mission, to ensure a bright and prosperous future for our sport.
