    FEI Driving Technical Committee – Athlete’s Representative Election 2018

    We are pleased to announce that Mr Jambor Vilmos (HUN) has been elected as the Athlete’s Representative for the Driving Technical Committee. He has been elected for a period of four years.
    The FEI Athlete representatives play a vital role and provide a voice to the Athlete community within the global FEI decision making process.
     
    We also thank our outgoing Athlete’s Representative, Mr. Bartlomiej Kwiatek (POL), for his implication and work over the last four years.

    Driving - FEI Athletes Representative Election
    As you may know, this is an election year for the FEI Athlete Representatives in all the FEI disciplines. We have recently reached out to all the eligible athletes and we would like to enlist the community to help us encourage and motivate eligible athletes to come forward and nominate themselves.
     
    The FEI Athlete representative carries a four year term (non-renewable) and is a member of the FEI Discipline Committee and also member of the FEI Athletes Committee with all the other athlete representatives. This position is a really important and vital role providing a voice to your community within the global decision making process. 
     
    We have a dedicated page on InsideFEI with all the relevant information around elections.

    1 May, 23:59 CEST         Deadline to submit Application 
    8 May                            Names and supporting documents of Candidates for the Athlete Representative positions will be published
    29 July                          Online voting process opens on inside.fei.org (see eligibility criteria above)
    23 September                Online voting process closes

    We would like to inform you that the schedule for the FEI World Para-Driving Championships for Single in Izsak (HUN), taking place from the 28th September to 1st October 2017 is now published here
     
    Kindly note that the deadline of the nominated entries is: 11.09.2017

    Driving - Top Driver Award 2016

    We would like to congratulate Mr. Boyd Exell (AUS) for winning the 2016 Best Driver Award for the Four-in-Hand class.
     
    The prize was given during a ceremony at the CAIO in Aachen (GER) on 23 July 2017.
     
    The Top Driver Award is, in effect Driving Standings based upon the four best results in each category achieved in FEI competitions.
     
    This award is added to a long list of achievements for Boyd Exell, who is also a four times World Champion and seven times FEI World Cup Driving Champion.
