Elections 2018 


The 2018 Election and Appointment process is in full swing with all candidacies for the 26 open positions now received. You will find here the full list of open positions for 2018 including details with regards to job specifications and the relevant process in terms of deadlines, timelines and candidate requirements.   

As per the agreed timeline, on 8 May we are pleased to announce the candidates for the FEI President and Athlete Representatives in all the FEI disciplines (see below). On 15 June we will be announcing here the candidates for the remaining 17 open positions.

Ingmar De Vos, who was elected as President of the FEI in 2014, is the sole candidate for this year’s Presidential election, which takes place at the FEI General Assembly in Bahrain’s capital Manama on 20 November.



A record number of 52 athletes from 26 countries on 5 continents are bidding for the eight Athlete Representative positions which will be decided through an online voting process which runs from 29 July to 23 September and is open to eligible athletes in the respective disciplines – see the full details here.
