FEI ENTRY SYSTEM FOR ENDURANCE

The FEI Entry System for the first FEI Discipline was launched in January 2013 and is now running well for all Jumping events.

As a natural continuation, the FEI Entry System for Endurance events was launched on the 1st October 2013 for all CEI.

The FEI Entry System is a key process that involves all event stakeholders: National Federations, Organising Committees, Officials as well as the FEI.

This service which is aimed at National Federations and Organising Committees:

• Improves the automation and exchange of data between the NFs and the FEI
• Provides an IT tool to NFs with no IT system in place
• Improves exchange and communication between the OC and the invited Federations
• Enables OC’s to manage entries online, as all entries from NF’s are received from a single source
• Provides downloadable Master lists with FEI ID’s as well as rider and horse details
• Means there is no more need to type in any data with risk of errors
• Gives a better quality and traceability of the data and improves results’ quality

The Key points of the FEI Entry System for Endurance are:

• The FEI Entry System application for Endurance checks the Athletes' and Horses' qualifications prior to the entry
• The rest periods for Horses is automatically calculated by the system
• The Closing date and time (one hour prior to the first vet inspection) is managed through the FEI Entry System. Once this deadline has gone by, no changes to the Entries are not possible
• The results will be managed through a new online results application
• Only results for pairs (Athlete and Horse) entered in the event through the FEI Entry System are taken into account,
• The name of the trainer of the Horse is mandatory and has to be entered when the entries are made for a FEI Endurance Event

Since the 1^st October 2013 the FEI Entry System for Endurance is mandatory for all CEI Event worldwide.
