Research Project Application

The FEI receives applications and enquiries regarding the undertaking of research at FEI events. In order to safeguard the welfare of horses, all research projects involving horses competing at FEI events must be approved by the FEI Veterinary Committee prior to their undertaking. Veterinary Delegates and Organising Committees not permitted to approve any research project at an event.

Requests for data from FEI events can also be made using the submission form below. Applications can be made by completing the form below and returning it to Caterina Termine.

Applications must be submitted at least 6 months in advance of the proposed project date. The next deadline for research project submissions is 1 March 2024. Submissions received after this date will be evaluated in Autumn 2024.
