Types of Courses

  • Testing Veterinarian Course (1 day)
    Mandatory for all Testing Veterinarians, to be repeated every 4 years 
  • General Veterinarian Course (2 days)
    Mandatory for all OVs, EOVs, EVTs and Testing Veterinarians, to be repeated every 4 years
  • Advanced Course for Endurance Official Veterinarians (1 day)
    Mandatory for all 3* EOVs and 4* EOVs, to be repeated every 4 years
  • Course for Endurance Veterinary Treatment Officials (1 day)
    Mandatory for all 2* EVTs, 3* EVTs and 4* EVTs, to be repeated every 4 years
  • Regional Veterinary Course (5 days), comprising:
    Testing Veterinarian Course
    General Veterinarian Course
    Advanced Course for Endurance Official Veterinarians
    Course for Endurance Veterinary Treatment Officials
     

Minimum Requirements for Course Organisation

National Federations wishing to host a veterinary course are kindly requested to refer to the checklist summarising the minimum requirements for course organisation. 


Course Application

National Federations must apply to the Veterinary Department for all veterinary courses they wish to host in 2018. The deadline for returning application forms is set to 15 January 2018.

provisional budget must be submitted with each application. 

The Veterinary Department will review the applications and allocate the courses. 
 

Course Directors

The Veterinary Department will appoint the course directors to each course. It will take care of their travel arrangements and will pay their representation fee after the completion of the course. 


Minimum Requirements for Course Attendance

  • Testing Veterinarian Course
    Be listed as an Official Veterinarian
  • General Veterinarian Course
    Be listed as a Permitted Treating Veterinarian
  • Advanced Course for Endurance Official Veterinarians
    Be listed as a 2* EOV
  • Course for Endurance Veterinary Treatment Officials
    Be listed as an Official Veterinarian

All courses are open to veterinarians from all countries. Participants must send their registration forms to their National Federation that will forward them to the Veterinary Department, 2 months before the beginning of the course at the latest. Participants will be required to pay a participant's fee ranging from EUR 150-250, to be set by the NF and Veterinary Department.
