Calendar Task Forces

On 24 March 2020, the FEI Board created a series of discipline-specific Task Forces to evaluate the impact on the FEI Calendar of the Covid-19 pandemic. The eight Task Forces, each of which are focused on a single discipline, will remain in place until any further decision by the Board.

The FEI Secretary General Sabrina Ibáñez, who has overall responsibility for the FEI Calendar, will chair each of the Task Forces and the FEI President will be kept fully updated on the work of each of the Task Forces and, where required, assisting in finalising proposals to be put forward to the FEI Board for approval.

On 15 April 2020, the Board accepted the following proposals from the European Equestrian Federation (EEF) and the Equestrian Organisers (formerly International Equestrian Organisers Alliance - IEOA):

  • Ulf Helgstrand (DEN) as the EEF representative in the Dressage Calendar Task Force and Para Equestrian Task Force.
  • Quentin Simonet (FRA) as the EEF representative in the Endurance Calendar Task Force and Driving Calendar Task Force.
  • Thomas Baur (GER) as the Equestrian Organisers representative in the Dressage Calendar Task Force.
  • Pierre Arnould (BEL) as the Equestrian Organisers representative in the Endurance Calendar Task Force.

As a general principle, and if FEI Headquarters has no objection, the Board shall agree to any future change of a stakeholder’s representative in a Calendar Task Force subject to these representatives having a full written mandate to represent and take decisions on behalf of their organisations.

Details of the composition of each Task Force can be found in the relevant page below.
