Your questions about our Coaching System |
I would like to take part in an FEI Coaching Course - what do I do? |
First of all, have a look at the FEI Coaching Courses Calendar to see if there is a course in your region. If this is the case, you must then contact YOUR National Federation (not the NF organising the course). They will then be able to advise you on the next step.

We are a National Federation and we would like to organise a Coaching Course - what do we do?
To organise a Coaching Course we ask you to submit your request to the FEI Solidarity Department at least 6 months in advance (see application form page). There are options available for organising National or Regional Courses. Once you have contacted the Solidarity Department, we will be able to guide you through the process.
What is the difference between a National and a Regional course?
A National course is open to national coaches.
A Regional course is open to NFs (and their coaches) belonging to the same FEI regional group as the organising NF.
For more information, please refer to our organisation and financing procedure available here.
Is there any specific entry requirements in order to take part in an FEI Coaches Course?
Yes! All this information can be found in the details in our Syllabuses. Click here to visit the Documents section.
Our NF would like to benefit from the Olympic Solidarity Funding to organise an FEI Coaching Course - how should we proceed?
You should contact your National Olympic Committee who will explain the whole procedure to you. You can also find some further information under About Coach Education.
One of our National Candidates has successfully completed a Level 1 Course and is now interested to take part in a Level 2. As there is no Level 2 Course scheduled this year for our regional group is he allowed to take part in a course in another regional group?
Generally coaches may only take a course in their own regional group. However, if a course in another regional group is not full come the application deadline (priority must be given to the members of their regional group) this might be acceptable under certain exceptional circumstances. This will be the decision of the organising NF.
