General Questions

I cannot access the FEI HorseApp, what can I do?

If you have any issue to log in to the FEI HorseApp, please contact usersupport@fei.org

Please make sure that you activate your account and get access to the FEI HorseApp well in advance of your upcoming FEI Event.

How can I register as a Groom to enter the Requirements for my Horses?

As a Groom, you can self-register and create a FEI account to have access to exclusive features on the FEI HorseApp that will be useful now and in the future. You can use the Self-Registration form here: https://data.fei.org/GroomSelfRegistration. Click here for further information.

I cannot see my Horse on the FEI HorseApp, how can I add my Horse to my list on the FEI HorseApp?

You must be associated with your Horse and your Horse be listed on your My Horses list before you can enter any information.

Click here to see how to manage My Horses on the FEI HorseApp.

I don’t have any internet connection at the Venue to enter the temperatures while my Horse is present at the FEI Event, what can I do?

It is very rare for there to be no internet connection at all at an FEI Event Venue. Please make sure to ask the OC where Wi-Fi is available. However, it is still possible to enter your Horse Event temperatures as we allow the possibility of entering the Horse’ temperatures up to three days in the past in the FEI HorseApp. These can therefore be entered when you find an internet connection or when you arrive home (time depending).

Furthermore, if you do not have the possibility to enter the temperatures of your Horse in the FEI HorseApp and you need to, you can ask people to associate themselves with your Horse so they can enter the temperatures on the FEI HorseApp on your behalf.

I have a non-competing/accompanying Horse that will be stabled in the FEI stables but will not compete at the FEI Event, do I need to fill in the Horse Health Requirements in the FEI HorseApp for this Horse as well?

Yes, all the Horses that are stabled in the FEI stables must be registered in the FEI Database with a FEI ID number, examined on arrival and fulfil the Horse Health Requirements even if they are not competing in the FEI Event.

Do I need to enter the Horse’s temperature in the FEI HorseApp on the day the Horse leaves the Venue?

The Horse’s temperature must be taken and entered in the FEI HorseApp until the departure of the Horse. If you leave the Venue on Monday afternoon, you will have to enter the AM temperature on the FEI HorseApp.

What if I arrive at the FEI Venue and the FEI Veterinarians are not yet present?

If you have arrived during the times allowed as specified on the Schedule of the Event, there will be a FEI Veterinarian present. Please make contact with the Stable Manager or Organising Committee who can contact the Vet accordingly to come examine your Horses on arrival.

Horses cannot enter the FEI stables prior to the official Opening of Stables as mentioned in the Schedule of the Event.

The Organising Committee did not check me out on the day I left the Venue and I have now received a warning, what shall I do?

Please contact usersupport@fei.org and explain the situation and when you left the Venue. The FEI will follow-up with the Organising Committee to confirm your departure date.

Please always encourage the OCs to check you out when you collect your Horse’ passport at the end of the Event.

Horse Health Requirements Sanctions

I have received a sanction and I don’t agree because the dates of my arrival and departure are not correct, what shall I do?

Please contact usersupport@fei.org and explain the situation with your arrival and departure date. The FEI will follow-up with the Veterinarians and Organising Committee to confirm your arrival/departure date accordingly.

Will the Horse Health Requirements be removed?

The welfare of the Horse is our number 1 priority. EHV-1 and other infectious diseases can have serious implications on our sport, so the strict requirements will remain to ensure we do the best for our Horses and to keep our industry alive, robust and healthy.

Will the fines and suspensions be adapted over time?

As of 4 July 2022 the sanction system is revised to align the strength of the sanctions with the biosecurity risks at FEI Events and to give a bit more flexibility to PRs. An overview of the revised sanction system can be seen here.
