Clean Sport Initiative

Welcome to the equine section of the FEI's Clean Sport website.

The FEI's Clean Sport initiative aims to produce a detailed approach to clean sport as well as incorporating World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) principles. The use of substances with the potential to affect equine performance, health or welfare and/or with a high potential for misuse are contrary to the integrity of equestrian sport and the welfare of horses.

The following pages provide athletes, grooms and other support personnel with the all of the necessary information regarding the FEI’s Equine Anti-Doping and Controlled Medication Programme and associated testing procedures and test results, equine prohibited substances and resources related to the medication of horses and educational material.
