Education System
The documents outline the possible pathways available to international officials within the FEI. They explain the various levels of education and corresponding requirements for courses, seminars and promotion.
Course Organisation

Judges Level 1 (1,5 – 2 Days)

Mandatory for all Judges 2* for promotion and refreshment every 4 years. A course is valid for 4 years
Judges Level 2 (2 Days) Mandatory for all Judges 3*, 4* for promotion and refreshment every 4 years. A course is valid for 4 years
TD Level 2 (2 Days) Mandatory for all TDs 2* for promotion and refreshment every 4 years. A course is valid for 4 years
Judges and TDs Level I and II (3 Days) Mandatory for all Judges and/or TDs 3*, 4* for promotion and refreshment every 4 years. A course is valid for 4 years
Steward (1 – 2 Days) Mandatory for all Stewards Level 1 to 3 for promotion and refreshment every 3 years. A course is valid for 3 years
Minimum Requirements for Course Organisation
National Federations wishing to host a course are kindly requested to refer to the checklist summarising the minimum requirements for course organisation.

Applying for FEI Subventions

National Federations who organise an Endurance Course for Officials can apply for FEI Subventions.

What are the requirements?

  • Send to the FEI the Invitation in due time
  • Send to the FEI the budget after the course
  • Precise in the email accompanying the application that you are applying for a subvention

The amount of the subvention will be decided by the FEI.

The subvention will be delivered after the Course and after receiving the Course Director Report.   

The subvention is a credit note.
