Update on preparation for Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games
A comprehensive update on preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be given by representatives of the Paris2024 Organising Committee with GL Events Equestrian Sport, the French company in charge of delivering the equestrian events.
The equestrian competitions will be organised at Versailles with the historical château as the magnificent backdrop. In line with the New Norm requirements, devised by the IOC in order to provide cities with increased flexibility and minimise costs, temporary facilities, which will be dismantled after the end of the Paralympic Games, will be used. In addition, Equestrian will share the venue with Modern Pentathlon. As a result, the timetable will be more compact than usual and will not include a rest day as has been the practice at past Olympic Games.
The latest information on the venue, competition schedule, qualification systems, regulations, and rankings is available here.
