When and where do the Horse Health Requirements apply? | In accordance with Art. 1027 and 1029 of the FEI Veterinary Regulations, as of 1 January 2022, ALL Horses present at ALL FEI Events must fulfil the Horse Health Requirements via the FEI HorseApp |
Who is concerned by the Horse Health Requirements? | Athletes, Grooms, FEI Veterinarians, FEI Officials, Organising Committees, Trainers and Owners all need to be aware of the Horse Health Requirements |
How do we fulfil the Horse Health Requirements? | All Stakeholders must use the FEI HorseApp to fulfil the requirements in accordance with the FEI Veterinary Regulations |
How are the Horse Health Requirements controlled? | The relevant requirements are controlled by FEI Veterinarians and FEI Officials at the Examination on Arrival and throughout FEI Events |
What happens if we don't comply with the Horse Health Requirements? |
In accordance with Annex VI of the FEI Veterinary Regulations, sanctions will apply for non-compliance |
Please note: Sanctions for non-compliance have been introduced worldwide as of 1 September 2022. ALL Horses competing at ALL FEI Events worldwide must fulfil the Horse Health Requirements via the FEI HorseApp.
