Endurance - Athlete medical report form
Following the recommendation of the FEI Medical Committee, the FEI Endurance Technical Committee will begin a survey for Endurance Athletes Injuries in line with the other FEI disciplines.

As of 1 October 2015, a medical report form will be provided to the Medical Doctor or the Medical Services of each Endurance FEI event to be completed and returned to the FEI Endurance Department.

This medical form does not require any procedure or signature from the FEI Officials at the event, solely from the Medical Doctor or the Medical Services team at the event.

The Organisers of FEI Endurance Events will be asked to give an e-mail address in the draft schedule of the Medical Doctor or the Medical Services team. The relevant persons will then be required to return the form to the FEI Endurance Department to the following e-mail camilla.kjellqvist@fei.org within 5 days following the event.

In case the Medical Doctor or the Medical Services do not have an e-mail address, this will be done through the Event Director.

The aim of this survey is to identify what sort of athlete injuries are most common in Endurance events, so that in the future we can prevent or react in a more effective way.

You can find the medical form here

Endurance - Exchange Programme for FEI Officials

Endurance can now apply to the “Exchange Programme for FEI Officials”.

The FEI recognises the need for FEI Officials to gain experience through officiating at events on a higher level than those available in their own countries. To enable National Federations to enhance the level of their officials (but not for status maintenance purposes) the FEI has developed this programme.

Its purpose is to assist National Federations and FEI Officials in gaining access to events and becoming official members of the respective team of Officials.

The Exchange Programme is available for all Officials in all FEI Disciplines, with the exception of Eventing, where a separate training programme has been set up.

Please have a look at the related documents.

Endurance - Welcome to the "Endurance Updates"

Welcome to the first edition Endurance Update (EU)!

The goal of the EU is to improve communications within the FEI Endurance fraternity by discussing the issues that the discipline faces, explaining rule changes and the reason for such changes and answering questions from athletes and officials on matters relating to the conduct of the competition.

Any questions from any member of the Endurance fraternity are welcome and should be addressed to our sport’s director, Manuel Bandeira De Mello. Read More

    Chair
    FEI Endurance Technical Committee

    Dear Friends,

It is my privilege to introduce you to “Endurance Updates”.

“Endurance Updates” existed already on the FEI website www.fei.org in the Endurance discipline page; it has now been restructured in order to serve as a “tool” for the Endurance family, including the Officials, Athletes, Trainers, Organisers, Owners and Endurance fans all around the world.

There will be regular updates informing, clarifying and explaining what is going on in Endurance at the FEI. This will include the decisions of the FEI Endurance Technical Committee, the subjects that may need extra clarification, and explaining the reasons for the decisions and the reasons for the clarifications.

The process for the Endurance Rules Revision has just started: it is our intention to inform you, as well as to clarify and to explain the reasons behind them and why we are proposing the changes.

As this will be a live “tool”, whenever the need arises there will be an update.

It’s our aim to serve the Endurance community the best way we can and provide you with a transparent service, so should you have any comments or feedback, please do contact the FEI Endurance Department at the following e-mail address: endurance.updates@fei.org.

    With kind regards,

    Manuel Bandeira de Mello
    FEI Endurance Director
