My Horse doesn't have any equine influenza vaccination details recorded on the FEI HorseApp
If your Horse has already been administered a vaccine against equine influenza, you can record on the FEI HorseApp the last valid equine influenza vaccination administered to the Horse and registered in the Horse's passport.
Any person associated with the Horse on the FEI HorseApp can record historical vaccination details. Click here to see how to register historical vaccination details on the FEI HorseApp.
The historical vaccination details you have registered for the Horse will be validated by the FEI and an FEI Official Veterinarian
The FEI Official Veterinarian will validate the historical vaccination details during the examination on arrival at the next FEI Event at which the Horse will be present
My Horse will be soon vaccinated against equine influenza by my veterinarian
If your Horse already has vaccination details recorded on the FEI HorseApp, your veterinarian will be able to register the new vaccination details the Horse will be administered. This must be done on the exact same day when the vaccination is done. Click here to see how your Veterinarian use the FEI HorseApp during the vaccination process.
If your Horse will receive a vaccination other than the first vaccination primary course and does not have any vaccination details recorded on the FEI HorseApp, the last valid equine influenza vaccination administered to the Horse and registered in the Horse's passport will have to be recorded on the FEI HorseApp. This can be done by any person associated with the Horse. Click here to see how to register historical vaccination details on the FEI HorseApp. This can also be done by your veterinarian during the vaccination process. Click here to see how your Veterinarian use the FEI HorseApp during the vaccination process.
My Veterinarian has recorded a new vaccination details on the FEI HorseApp for my Horse, will I receive a reminder when my Horse needs to be vaccinated?
Yes, automatic reminders before vaccinations lapse and information notifications will be sent to Persons Responsible (PRs) and Horse owners to ensure Horses meet the necessary vaccination requirements
My Horse does not compete at FEI Events - do I need to register the vaccination details on the FEI HorseApp?
According to the FEI Veterinary Regulations, equine influenza vaccination details must be recorded on the FEI HorseApp. If your Horse does not compete at any FEI Event, FEI Regulations do not apply. However, as long as your Horse is registered on the FEI Database with an FEI ID, we strongly recommend that the vaccination details are recorded on the FEI HorseApp.
