Sanctions for non-compliance
Sanctions for non-compliance have been introduced worldwide as of 1 September 2022. ALL Horses competing at ALL FEI Events worldwide must fulfil the Horse Health Requirements via the FEI HorseApp. You can find the Sanctions listed in Annex VI of the FEI Veterinary Regulations.
The updated sanctions, as approved by the FEI Board, are applicable for all FEI Events as of Monday 4 July 2022. An overview can be found here.
If the Horse Health Requirements have not been fulfilled and a sanction/fine is to be issued, the National Federation of the Athlete competing the Horse at the given FEI Event will be invoiced by the FEI.
The National Federation will need to follow-up directly with their Athletes in accordance with their internal procedures.
