CCI 4-star Burghley launches live video streaming for broadband users

For this year’s Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, equestrian fans equipped with Broadband will exclusively be able to follow the Cross Country action as it unfolds on Saturday 9 September via Burghley’s internet coverage on www.burghley-horse.co.uk .

With the best of the Dressage performances from Thursday and Friday and an introduction to Burghley’s spectacular 32 fence Cross Country course by Captain Mark Phillips, the video internet broadcast will run continuously from 10.00 until 17.00 (BST).

This innovative ‘live’ service, the first pay-per-view horsesport programming of its kind in the UK, will allow subscribers to dip in and out as they wish and there’s a full repeat starting at 18.00 BST on Saturday 9 September until 01.00 BST on Sunday morning.

From 14.30 on Sunday 10 September, UK viewers will be able to enjoy coverage of the decisive Show Jumping rounds on BBC 2 Grandstand.

This facility will also be available worldwide with international subscribers able to enjoy both the Cross Country and the decisive ‘top 25’ Show Jumping Rounds.

For UK Subscribers the cost is £6.00 for those who sign up before Friday 25 August: thereafter £7.50. The broadcast times and costs for international subscribers are as follows:
