Extra Information

The Examination on Arrival is performed by the FEI Veterinarians as soon as the Horse arrives at the Venue using the specific functionalities on the FEI HorseApp. There are two different protocols that can be applied depending on the configuration of your Venue.

FEI Veterinarians are responsible for the examination of all Horses. However as an Event Organiser, you have the overall responsibility, in accordance with Art. 1010 and 1027 of the FEI Veterinary Regulations, to organise facilities for the Examination on Arrival and ensure the Examination on Arrival is performed in accordance with Art. 1029 of the FEI Veterinary Regulations. A sufficient number of Veterinarians must be available on the day the horses arrive, to ensure that the procedure can be run correctly and in a timely manner.

On the day of departure for each Horse, the Organising Committees also have the responsibility to check-out all the Horses present at the FEI Venue on the FEI HorseApp.
