*Indicates an Emergency Board Decision as per Article 20.3 of the FEI Statutes, whereby in an Emergency Situation - a serious situation or occurrence that happens unexpectedly and clearly requires immediate action - the Board may, by a two-thirds (2/3) majority of votes cast, pass Resolutions which are normally the prerogatives of the General Assembly. National Federations are informed of all Emergency Resolutions and those eligible to vote have up to 30 days of the date of the notice to declare their disapproval by contacting the FEI Director Governance & Institutional Affairs. The deadlines are clearly marked within each resolution.

Board Resolution		 FEI General Assembly 2021
 

The FEI Board approved the withdrawal of 2021 FEI General Assembly from Johannesburg (RSA) given the evolution of Covid-19 in the country and thanked South Africa for the preparations that had been put in place. The Board also mandated the FEI Headquarters to look into the possibility of organising a hybrid General Assembly in 2021, where delegates would have the possibility of either joining online or in person. The FEI Board also approved postponing a decision on the host country for the FEI General Assembly in 2022 to a later date.

Board Resolution		 Online FEI General Assembly 2020 – Modified timetable
 

The FEI Board approved the new timetable for the FEI General Assembly 2020, which will be held electronically due to Covid-19 social distancing requirements and travel restrictions. Please note the dates have been moved due to all parameters which had to be taken into consideration for the organisation of an online General Assembly.

Further details concerning the online General Assembly, such as registrations, videoconference and voting systems, power of attorneys, etc. will be provided to National Federations in due time.

Board Resolution		 FEI General Assembly 2020 and 2021
 

The Board agreed to cancel the in-person General Assembly 2020 in South Africa and to hold an online General Assembly instead. The General Assembly 2021 was then allocated to RSA NF.
