FEI World Reining Masters Final 2004: The Finalists

35-year-old Cody Sapergia from Alberta came to Reining quite naturally. He is the son of Molly and Vernon Sapergia and brother to Shawna and Terry Lee. All are heavily involved with the sport. As a youth, Cody competed in AQHA competition and has since made a name for himself in the reining community both at home and internationally. Cody was a member of Team Canada in 2001 when they won the Nations Cup competition at the Festival of Champions in Gladstone, New Jersey. He won the 2001 NRHA Futurity Shows Limited Open class and took second place as well. He was also third in the Intermediate Open class. Cody won the Canada Cup in 2002, 2003, and was the Reserve Champion in 2004. Hes been a member of Team Canada for five years.
