Jeannette Kraehenbuehl (SUI) Third and Winner in Restricted 

In the first FEI World Reining Masters Final in Oklahoma City last night, 21 superb reiners from 16 nations competed for $ 100,000. in two categories: Open (all nations) and Restricted (only nations that were not in the final of the WEG 2002 in Jerez).

In Open the winner was Todd Crawford (USA) astride Matt Dillon Dun It (oener 3 Peaks Ranch). The NRHA Open World Champion, NRCHA Leading Money Earner, AQHA Senior Reining World Champion, AQHA Horseman of the Year and USET Open Champion) scored a 220.5 which won $ 17 906,25. Matt Dillon Dun It is a 7-year-old American Quarter Horse stallion by Hollywood Dun It and already received $ 100 000,-- in NRHA, NCHA and NRCHA Shows. Multi NRHA Futurity Champion Todd Sommers (USA) and Remin Whiz placed second scoring 219.5) The stallion is owned by Lucy Van Swearingen.

The biggest surprise, however, was Jeannette Kraehenbuehl (SUI). With her American Quarter Horse ARC Golden Boy (by Surprise Enterprise) she scored a wonderful 218.5 which made her third in Open. This, Jeannette was not only the most successful European, but also won the restricted category. Jeannette Kraehenbuehl and her Palomino (bred by Arcese Quarter Horses, ITA) became 2004 Non Pro World Reining Trophy Champion in Mooslargue and are now second in the 2004 NRHA Ranking Non Pro. For the third place and winning the restricted, she received more than $ 17 400,-- altogether.

Brazilian Jango Salgado and Commandalena (owner Christina Bergquist Knox) placed second in Restricted scoring 217.5, Austrian Rudi Kronsteiner and Shiners Chex Mix (owner Melanie Pogue) placing third.
