Netherlands wins the day, Sweden leads the standings 

The Samsung Nations Cup of Falsterbo, Sweden, was decided in a three-team jump off. Home team Sweden, The Netherlands and Germany all tied on 8 faults after the second round.

It was a close competition all round with three teams clear, two on four faults and three on eight after the first round.

The United States, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, Italy and Austria came back for the second round.

With two clear rounds from Malin Baryard/Butterfly Flip and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson/Mac Kinley the home team advanced from fifth to equal first position while The United States dropped from first to fifth position.

The Netherlands had the victory in their hands until last rider Yves Houtackers had the last fence down and the team equaled with Sweden and Germany on 8 faults.

The competition only saw four double clears. Apart from the Swedes Kevin Olsmayer/Londontimes NED and Marcus Ehning/Anka GER were the other two.

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Mac Kinley started first for Sweden in the jump off: They came back with a clear round and put some pressure on the trams to follow.

Yves Houtackers and Gran Corrado took on the jump off course for The Netherlands and was able to beat Bengtssons time with 11 hundreds of a second.

Johannes Ehning and Lord´s Classic had one fence down in the jump off.

The Netherlands was the winners of the day. Sweden made some useful points for the leaderboard in Samsung nations Cup and is now in leading position with 25 points.

Nine teams started in Samsung Nations Cup in Falsterbo.
