Since then, Samsung has made various contributions to the equestrian world, including sponsorship of the Samsung Super League. I am convinced that this extended Samsung Super League sponsorship will be one of important arms of Samsung sports sponsorships, which plays an important role of elevating brand recognition while demonstrating Samsung’s dedication as a corporate citizenship”

“The Samsung Super League has brought international equestrian sport to a whole new level” explains FEI President HRH the Infanta Doña Pilar de Borbón. “It was evident from the very beginning that, with national pride at stake, the competition would be very successful, but no-one could have anticipated the degree of enthusiasm and determination with which the series has been embraced. I would like to convey our gratitude to Samsung for supporting equestrian sport worldwide, and for being such a long and faithful partner of the FEI. ”

Participating in the signing ceremony will be Mr. Juan Antonio Samaranch, former IOC president and current Honorary President, who said “Samsung is one of the world’s leading companies with its full commitment to the world of sports. About the FEI
The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), founded in 1921, is the international body governing equestrian sport recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It is based on the principle of equality and mutual respect between all 135 affiliated National Federations, without prejudice to race, religion or internal politics.

Equestrian sport has been on the Olympic programme ever since 1912 with three disciplines: Jumping, Dressage and Eventing. It is one of the very few sports where men and women compete on equal terms. It is also the only sport which involves two athletes, horse and rider, and the relationship and mutual respect build up between them is the key to a successful partnership.
