Marcus Ehning (GER) still in the lead

At the end of a very active and successful month of October, Germany’s Marcus Ehning retains the leadership of the FEI Gandini World Jumping Riders’ Rankings with 3014 points. He competed in CSI 5* Las Vegas (USA), one of only 11 competitions worldwide to hold a five-star status. He was also to be seen at CSI 4* Hanover (GER) and CSI 4* Lyon (FRA).

Brazilian star Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA) was just as active winning the Grand Prix in Las Vegas on his faithful Baloubet du Rouet. With participation in Las Vegas, Hanover and CSI 3* Affalterbach (GR), Pessoa is in 2nd place with 2868 points.

With 2607 points, Switzerland’s Markus Fuchs, who was in 4th position last month, is now 3rd after a victory in Lyon. Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum (GER) is down to 4th place only 2 points behind Fuchs (2605 points).

Gerco Schröder (NED), who was 12th last month, enters the top ten. With 2137 points, he takes 8th place. This good progress is due to his superb winning effort in the second leg of the FEI World Cup Jumping at Oslo and his victory in the Grand Prix at Hanover. Schröder took also part in CSI-W 3* Washington, DC (USA) and CSI-W Helsinki (FIN).
