Situation in the Leagues, update 22 March 
 
28th FEI WORLD CUP JUMPING FINAL
THE FOLLOWING IS THE SITUATION AFTER TWELVE OF THE 14 LEAGUES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.

The 2005 / 2006 World Cup Jumping season consists of 14 Leagues.

The following twelve Leagues have completed their qualifications:
Canada, South America; South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South East Asia, Central Asia, Mexico, Central Europe, Arab, USA East Coast,

Qualifying competitions are still pending in the following two Leagues:
USA West Coast, Western Europe

Canadian League ( 2 qualified)

There were 8 competitions in the Canadian League where a total of 43 riders competed with 37 obtaining points. Six foreign nationals with residence in Canada participated in the Canadian League - one Belgian, one French, two Americans, one British and one Dutch rider.

There were 14 competitions in the AUS League. A total of 63 riders participated with 58 riders obtaining World Cup points.

South American League – Southern Part (2 qualified)

Eight competitions were held in South America: four in Brazilian cities and four in Argentina. 76 riders from Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Ecuador competed. Fifty-seven riders obtained points. The League was won by Pedro Paulo Lacerda with 63 points ahead of Karina Johannpeter with 61 points, Cesar Almeida obtained 56.

Six competitions were held in South Africa, with 31 riders and 30 obtaining points – all from South Africa.

Central Asian League (1 qualified)

There were three competitions in Central Asia: Tashkent (UZB). Bishkek (KGZ) and Almaty (KAZ) and 17 riders from these three countries competed, 14 riders obtained.

Mexican Sub-League (2 qualified plus one extra rider)

Three competitions were held in Mexican League. Fifteen riders participated and thirteen riders obtained points. The League was won by Santiago Lambre with 25 points ahead of John Perez (COL) with 21 points. Third was A. Michan Halbinger (MEX).

There were seven competitions, six in Malaysia and one in the Philippines. Twenty-three riders participated with 19 obtaining points.
