Swiss Show the Way in Aachen

The Swiss team will be first into the ring when the second leg of the
2006 Samsung Super League with FEI series gets underway tomorrow at
13.15 local time in Aachen, Germany.

The ORDER OF GO is as follows:
1. Switzerland; 2, The Netherlands; 3, Great Britain; 4, USA, 5,
Germany; 6, France; 7, Ireland; 8, Sweden.

Despite torrential rain yesterday (Wednesday) the new surface in the
main arena was in perfect condition again today, and horses and riders
can look forward to perfect going once more tomorrow. The world-famous
Aachen main ring looks considerably different this year however because
the old banks have been removed and a brand new sand arena has been
located in the centre. It is here that the Dressage will take place
during the World Equestrian Games in three month's time.

Meanwhile riders have an extra incentive throughout this 2006 Samsung
Super League with FEI series because good results will be rewarded with
a prize of CHF 50,000 going to the Leading Rider. Every clear round
will earn 1 point, while double-clear performances will earn 3 points
and, in the case of a tie, the highest number of double-clears will
decide the winner. If more than one rider still shares the lead then
the highest number of points with the lowest number of starts will be
the deciding factor.
