Givrins (SUI)

On the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of July 2006, the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) of Switzerland held the very first show at the CS Ranch in Givrins (SUI). This stunning, brand new facility with an indoor arena of 80 x 40 m belongs to Corinna and Michael Schumacher.

Nearly 100 riders and their horses traveled to Lake Geneva to compete in the different categories and classes. A CRI 3-star with a purse of CHF 10'000 (sponsored by Deutsche Bank, Private Wealth Management) was the most important class at the Reining show. Beautiful weather and excellent conditions made this event a milestone in the history of Swiss Reining!

Eveline Röthlisberger - member of the Swiss National Reining Team and nominated for Aachen - won this competition with Daniel Straumann's horse Gallo Pequeno. In second position came Jeannette Krähenbühl (ARC Golden Boy) followed by Robert Welle (Son Ofa Dunit).
