Olympic update: Thomas Velin on his way to Athens

Further to the withdrawal of Carlos Lopez (COL), Thomas Velin (DEN) with Carnute will participate in the Olympic Jumping competitions.

It will be the second Olympic participation for Velin, 31, who placed 10th individually at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney with his 14 year old bay Selle Français stallion by Oberon du Moulin and Kune, owned by Velin's father Flemming. The combination also obtained the 10th rank at the 2004 World Cup Final in Milan.
