Rieky Young (Netherlands)

Rieky Young began riding Dressage ponies when she was four-years-old. She is a certified Dressage instructor and world class Dressage competitor who is equally proficient in western performance events most notably Reining. Married to Dave Young, Rieky has been a major promoter as well as supporter of the sport of Reining in The Netherlands. She has many prestigious national and European reining titles to her credit. In fact, Rieky's name is seen in the 2004 NRHA Top Ten Intermediate Open standings. Most recently, Young earned the reserve championship in the Intermediate Open class at the NRHA European Affiliate Championships and earned the reserve title in the Limited Open class held at the World Reining Trophy 2004 in Mooslargue, France.

At the moment, it is not sure which horse she is going to ride in Oklahoma City. Rieky indicated, however, that it wouldn't be Burnt Starlight, the horse she has been tremendously successful with this year.

The FEI World Reining Masters was made possible due to the cooperation of AQHA, NRHA and RHSF as well as the support of Classic S Ranch and Presenting Sponsor NetJets. NetJets is known to be the world's leading provider of fractional aircraft ownership. NetJets fractional aircraft ownership allows individuals and companies to buy part of a private jet at a fraction of the cost of whole aircraft ownership, and guarantees availability 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In 2003, the NetJets Europe Fleet and the NetJets US Fleet together flew more than 250,000 flights to more than 145 countries.
