FEI European Jumping Championship for Children Riders

The first ever FEI European Jumping Championship for Children Riders (EU-CH-Ch-S) will take place in the historic city of Istanbul from 2 to 6 August 2006.

The event will be organized by the Istanbul Equestrian Club under the patronage of the FEI and the Turkish Equestrian Federation; it is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sport as well as various sponsors (main sponsor “KOC Financial Services”, "Spor Toto"; accommodation sponsor “CONRAD Istanbul”, transportation sponsor “Turkish Airlines"; co-sponsors "Kahve Dunyasi", "Petrol Ofisi", Service Sponsors "Florence Nightingale Group", "Medline", "Generali", "TeknoSA", "Baileys Horse Feed", "Cem Botanik")

No less than 16 nations have confirmed their participation: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Italy, FYROMacedonia, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain and Switzerland.

The FEI Children’s International Jumping Competition began 12 years ago; in 2005 some 43 countries took part in it. This Championship will be another big challenge for Children Riders.
