Judges Star Rating to be compulsory in 2006

As published in 2004 the Endurance Department has now commenced the listing of Endurance Judges giving details of their *Rating as agreed in conjunction with the Judge’s respective National Federations.

During the 2005 season the Endurance Office will begin to require listing of the Judges *Rating on the schedules submitted for approval thereby matching the *Rating of the event to the *Rating of proposed Judges wherever possible.

This is in advance of 2006 when it will be compulsory for a Judge’s *Rating to be equal to or higher than the *Rating of the ride in which he or she will officiate.

At the time of this press release a number of National Federations have yet to return the assessment forms issued to them on 10th September 2004. This could mean that OC’s may decide to invite only those officials whose *Rating is now held on the data base of the FEI.
