USA get best draw in Aachen, Markus Fuchs will be first into the ring 
 
At the draw for the running order in tomorrow's Samsung Super League nations' cup in Aachen, Germany the American team came out best when slotting into eighth position while the Swiss were unlucky to find themselves as pathfinders.

The order of go is as follows: 1, Switzerland; 2, Great Britain; 3, Germany; 4, Belgium, 5, Ireland; 6, The Netherlands; 7, France; 8, USA.

Markus Fuchs will be first into the ring with La Toya and the Swiss team also includes Christina Liebherr (LB No Mercy), Niklaus Schurtenberger (Cantus) and Steve Guerdat (Tijl Van Het Pallieterland).

The following riders have been selected to compete for the remaining teams in the following order:Great Britain - Nick Skelton (Arko), William Funnell (Cortaflex Mondriaan), Ellen Whitaker (AK Locarno), Michael Whitaker (Portofino). Germany - Marcus Ehning (Gitania), Marco Kutscher (Montender), Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum (Checkmate), Ludger Beerbaum (L'Espoir). Belgium - Jean Claude Vangeenberghe (Osta Rugs Quintus), Dirk Demeersman (Clinton), Ludo Philippaerts (Parco), Jos Lansink (Cavalor Cumano).Ireland - Shane Breen (World Cruise), Dermott Lennon (Condios), Capt Shane Carey (Killossery), Billy Twomey (Anastasia).The Netherlands - Jeroen Dubbeldam (BMC Nassau), Harrie Smolders (Oliver), Leon Thijssen (Nairobi), Gerco Schroder (Eurocommerce Monaco).France - Florian Angot (First de Launay), Herve Godignon (Obelix), Gilles Bertran de Balanda (Crocus Graverie), Eugenie Angot (Cigale du Taillis).USA - Jeffery Welles (Armani), Laura Kraut (Miss Independent), McLain Ward (Sapphire), Beezie Madden (Authentic).

The heavy rain which is affecting much of Europe fell on Aachen today and may influence the going in the competition which begins at 13.15 local time tomorrow.
