Samsung provide equestrian fans a wonderful day out in Barcelona

The Supporters will have a free admission to the Samsung Super League and a chance to win valuable prizes!


Barcelona, 17th September 2005. - The Samsung Super League Supporters Club was established in 2003 with the aim of providing show jumping fans the excitement and enthusiasm of their affection to the competitions held in each host country. Again, many Spanish fans will have the opportunity to enjoy the Samsung Super League Final in Barcelona with great entertainment provided by Samsung Electronics.

Once invited and registered, all Samsung Super League Supporters Club members are given free admission, reserved seating, giveaway items and lunch. Members are also grouped into each competing nation and provided with flags of their respective countries to support their designated teams.

Prior to the official parade of competing nations during the opening ceremony, the Supporters will take part in a parade where Supporters Club members will walk the perimeter of the arena waving flags from the country they are supporting. Each country will have its own cheerleader who will lead the cheering activities for members.

Also the Nation’s Flag Cascade will transform the Supporters tribune into a venue of great visual activity during the opening ceremony. Huge montage flags will be unfurled and passed down through the cheering crowd as each competitor enters the arena. These activities will continue throughout the competition spurring the riders on to achieve the best result for each of their nations.

In order to commemorate Samsung’s contribution in the equestrian world, Supporters will prepare an additional special event in Barcelona: the balloon release. During the break between the first and second rounds, Supporters will parade into the arena accompanied by ceremonial mounted police where five hundred balloons will be released after a brief speech from the Supporters representative.
