Gandini prolongs sponsorship of FEI World Rankings in Jumping

The FEI is pleased to announce the prolongation of its cooperation agreement with the Italian fashion company Gandini Tessuti Alta Moda for another 4 years until December 2008.

Gandini is sponsoring the FEI Gandini World Jumping Riders Rankings in partnership with the International Jumping Riders Club (IJRC). The association between the FEI and Gandini began in January 2001 when the new calculation formula for the FEI World Jumping Rankings was introduced.

“We are extremely pleased that Gandini has decided to continue their sponsorship of the FEI World Jumping Riders Rankings. The Gandini family is very found of horses and has a real understanding of equestrian sport” explains Eleonora Ottaviani, Director of the International Jumping Riders Club.

“Thanks to the support of Gandini and the IJRC, we now have an objective and interesting formula for the FEI World Rankings in Jumping” states Christophe Troendle, FEI Commercial Director. “Each month, the FEI Gandini World Jumping Riders Rankings are keenly awaited by the media and the riders themselves. It is now an indispensable measure of rider’s performance. We would like to express our gratitude to Gandini for their generosity and invaluable support”.
