The elite of international Show Jumping will gather in Geneva (SUI) for the fifth edition of the Top Ten Final, presented by Rolex and the International Jumping Riders Club. It will take place on Saturday 10 December 2005 in the framework of the 45th Geneva Horse Show. The riders, who will participate in this competition, are the 10 leaders of the FEI Gandini World Jumping Riders’ Rankings as published on 30 November 2005. These are: Marcus Ehning (GER), Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA), Meredith Michaels – Beerbaum (GER), Markus Fuchs (SUI), Nick Skelton (GBR), Ludger Beerbaum (GER), Jessica Kürten (IRL), Gerco Schröder (NED), Marco Kutscher (GER), and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE). American Beezie Madden, who had placed 10th in the Rankings, will not be competing in Geneva.

The Top Ten Final, created on the initiative of the riders, was held for the first time in 2001. Germany’s Ludger Beerbaum won the 2001 and 2002 editions; he was followed by Rodrigo Pessoa in 2003 and Merdith Michaels-Beerbaum in 2004. All of these riders will be in Geneva to fight to secure yet another prestigious title.

The full Rankings are available on the FEI website www.horsesport.org, section Jumping, Results, Rankings.
