The Best Christmas Party Just Got Better

The Box Office for Olympia, the London International Horse Show, the most successful indoor horse show in Britain, opens on Monday, 26th June. The show, which runs from 12-18 December is the Christmas party of the horse world.

The glitterati of equestrian sport will be in the starting lineups for the most high profile classes of the week, the FEI World Cup Qualifiers for Jumping and Dressage. But these will be just two of the classes in the 12 performance programme which will also include the classic jumping classes of the Puissance, Six Bar and Monday night’s big money class, The Grand Prix.

The standard of sport will be superb and added to this mix will be the theatrical element which has become a hallmark of shows produced by the HPower Group and copied across the world.

This year’s ‘spectacular’ will be the 16 strong quadrille of the Hanoverian State Stud. Resplendent in period costume and with the precision of a red arrow fly past, the Stud will demonstrate the grace and elegance of the Hanoverian Stallions.

In addition to the combination of international sport and the Hanoverian’s, comes the lighter side of life in the form of the Metropolitan Police Activity Ride and regular features in the Olympia programme, The Kennel Club Dog Agility and the Shetland Pony Grand National.

This year the show is supporting the charity Breast Cancer Haven in a number of ways and in particular making a donation from the sale of every ticket from the performance on Thursday afternoon.
