Lauterbarch wins the Singles, France dominate the Pairs. Werner Ulrich in the lead for the Four-in-Hand Award. 

The 2005 FEI Top Driver Awards are now closed for the two categories of Single and Pairs Driving.

At the end of the 12 events counting for the standings, Dieter Lauterbach (GER) won the FEI Top Driver Award for Singles, sponsored by Kühnle Kutschenmanufacktur GmbH, with 67 points, ahead of Benoît Vernay (FRA) and Marcel Stassen (BEL). Lauterbach won two events part of the Series, the first one at CAI-A Kladruby nad Labem (CZE) and the second at CAI-A Weer (AUT), Ninety-two drivers took part in one or more events of the Series.

The FEI Top Driver for Pairs is sponsored by Van Der Wiel Harness. The season consisted of a record number of 16 events and concluded in Riesenbeck (GER) last week-end. The French drivers took an early lead at the beginning of the Series and grab the first four places of the Final standings. Eve Cadi-Verna wins the Award ahead of Pierre Jung and François Dutillon. Hundred-thirty-seven drivers took part in the Series.

With 70 points, the Swiss Werner Ulrich leads the FEI Top Driver Award for Four in Hand, which is sponsored by Finn Caspersen. Ulrich is followed by Joszef Dobrovitz (HUN) with 61 points and Ysbrand Chardon (NED). The two last events of the Series are Aachen (GER) from 25 to 28 August and Donaueschingen (GER) from 16 to 18 September.
