FEI Gandini Jumping Riders’ World Ranking List

Marcus Ehning (GER) is the world's new number one 
 
The 55th FEI Gandini Jumping Riders’ World Ranking List, including events from 1 August 2004 to 31 July 2005) is available on the FEI website www.horsesport.org.

Please note that the results of CSI 3* Ottawa (CAN), CSI 2* Saugerties (USA) and CSI-W Kuala Lumpur (MAS) are missing.

The world’s new number one is Germany’s Marcus Ehning with 2724 points. This is a significant progress for Ehning who was in 5th position last month. He is followed by fellow-country woman Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum with 2585 points. Last month’s number 1 Rodrigo Pessoa of Brazil is now 3rd 50 points behind Michaels-Beerbaum (2535 points). Both Ehning and Michaels-Beerbaum were on the gold medal winning German team at the FEI European Jumping Championship at San Patirgnano along with Marco Kutscher and Christian Alhmann. Kutscher, who also won the individual European title, also makes progress and with 2186 is 7th (10th last month) whereas Ahlmann is one place up in 8th place.
