27 representatives from 12 nations attended an FEI Driving Seminar last weekend at the Marienwaerdt Estate in the Netherlands, at the venue of the 2008 Four-in-Hand World Driving Championship. The forum was led by Mrs Diana Brownlie (GBR), Mr Richard James (GBR) and Mr Klaus Christ (GER).

The Seminar for Senior Judges was an opportunity for all these FEI Officials to share their thoughts and ideas and to formulate possible future developments within the sport.

Beside the “open session” discussions, the new Driving Dressage Tests 8A and 9 were driven by invited single and four-in-hand drivers.

All participants were pleased to have attended and agreed it had been a great success.

Details of the findings and proposals arising from the Seminar will be published shortly.
