FEI Children’s Committee meeting

The FEI Children’s Committee held its annual Committee meeting in Simi Valley (USA) on the occasion of the Final of the 2005 FEI Children’s Jumping Competition.

Among the items on the agenda for discussion were the following:
• 2006 competition calendar;

• Introduction of a category C in 2006 with the arena reduced in size for this category to (minimum) 65m x 45m, speed 300 m/min, height 90cm - 1.00cm, (pending FEI Bureau approval);

• Group VII Jumping Championship for Young Riders, Juniors and Children in Saudi Arabia;

• Championships organized with borrowed horses and the problems associated with such events;

• Appointment of the course designer for the 2007 Children’s Championship, Mr Xavier Fernandez (MEX) category A and B competitions;

• Appointment of officials:
