10 nations represented at seminar for Senior Course Designers and Technical Delegates

21 representatives from over 10 nations attended a Driving Seminar in Vienna, last weekend, hosted by the Austrian Equestrian Federation.

The Chairman of the Driving Technical Committee, Mr Richard Nicoll attended from the USA together with the Vice Chairman Mr Richard James from the UK.

The seminar for FEI Senior Driving Course Designers and Technical Delegates provided an opportunity over two days for those FEI Officials to exchange ideas and to formulate possible developments within the sport for the future.

All of those attending agreed that the Seminar, which was specifically organised to not have a detailed programme, but rather to allow those attending the opportunity to freely express their views and to debate relevant issues, had been a great success.

It is now planned to hold a similar event in October 2006 for Senior International Driving Judges.

Details of the findings and proposals arising from the seminar will be published shortly.
