Vaulting is a youthful, theatrical discipline in which athletes perform on the back of a cantering horse. As such, it demands an outstanding physical condition from the Vaulter, a harmonious relationship with both the lunger and horse and first class teamwork. Vaulting is divided into four competitions; Individual female, Individual male, Pas-de-Deux and Squad.

FEI World Cup™ Vaulting
The FEI World Cup™ Vaulting was launched in 2012 following in the footsteps of the successful FEI World Cup™ series in Jumping, Dressage and Driving. A very successful Final was held in Austria where 20 athletes from 7 nations competed for the 2015 titles in the three categories: male, female and Pas-de-deux. France's Nicolas Andreani was unbeatable in the fiercely contested male category, whilst Austria's Lisa Wild and her famous backflip took the individual female title. As for the pas-de deux, it was the German partnership of Gera Marie GrĂ¼n and Justin van Gerven that took the honours. Photos, facts, figures and results available here.
