We need to be open and honest about the challenges we are facing as a sport but more than that we need to be proactive and brave enough to consider changes that will address these challenges. I remember a quote from IOC President Thomas Bach who said "change or be changed. If our ultimate goal is modern horse sport for the modern era, then we need to address all these questions."
