FEI Sports Forum 2023

Two intense days of discussions made up the 11th edition of the FEI Sports Forum 2023 which took place from 24-25 April at the IMD in Lausanne (SUI).

The first session was dedicated to an interim report issued by the Equine Ethics and Wellbeing Commission along with its recommended course for future action. This was then followed by a dedicated Q&A between the panellists, made up of Commission members, and the Forum’s delegates. The day continued with the TechQuestrian session, where the FEI’s main online platforms were showcased in an interactive way, and ended with an update on preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

With the biggest turnout ever at a Sports Forum, the second day of sessions further confirmed and highlighted the equestrian community’s desire to work together and to find solutions beneficial to all the stakeholder groups, with the well-being of the horse and the future of the sport at the heart of all considerations.

With over 3,000 views online, and 225 participants attending in-person, it is fair to say that this edition of the FEI Sports Forum was extremely well received. As every year, session documents can be accessed on the FEI Sports Forum hub.
