Youth was in the spotlight on the European stage at the Meydan FEI European Championships 2019 for Seniors at Euston Park in Suffolk, England. At only 20 years of age, Constanza Laliscia from Italy took the title with Sasha El Kandhaar. Silver went to the 24-year-old Paula Muntala Sanchez (ESP) riding T’aime de Coeur and Jaume Punti Dachs (ESP) with Echo Falls took home bronze.
The team standings were hotly disputed until the end. Spain was tactical throughout the entire Championships and riding as a team proved to be the right strategy as they took European gold for the third time in a row. France took silver with Germany in third place.
