Currently, appointments are only done for CSI4*/5* and "special" events. In my opinion it would be a good idea to also do these appointments for CSI3* events. In fact, for all "higher level" events. CSI2* events per definition have less price money, have less budget and therefor it is logic that these events are looking for foreign judges of neighbouring countries to reduce cost.

However, if FEI would pay for these appointed judges, then we need to extend the principle for all events as we then shift the cost, including travel cost. It would also give us the opportunity to give chances to all international officials.
