Athlete Elections 2014

The terms for all newly elected athlete representatives on their relevant Technical Committee will start following the conclusion of the FEI General Assembly on 14 December 2014 in line with all newly elected/appointed members on FEI Technical Committees & FEI Bureau. 

2nd Ballot - Results

The 2nd ballot for the election of FEI Athlete Elections for Jumping, Eventing & Para-Equestrian closed on 16 July at 23:59 CEST. 

The below disciplines have now also elected their FEI Athlete Representative as a candidate (within each discipline) received a simple majority of the votes cast:

The 1st ballot for the election of FEI Athlete Elections closed on 1 June 2014 at 23:59 CEST.

Athlete Election 2014 voting rules

Criteria and has agreed to the terms included in the Rules of Conduct for the Election Campaign.

Athlete eligibility criteriaathlete must be  least 18 years of age, has  competed in one of the last two senior FEI World Championships or Olympic Games in the Discipline for which the athlete is  seeking election; and has a clean anti-doping record with respect to both the Equine Anti-Doping & Control Medication Rules (EADCMRs) and the Anti-Doping Rules for Human Athletes (ADRHAs) as of April 2010.

Who may vote?

Only FEI registered Athletes aged 18 years and over who are included on their respective Ranking List (31 December 2013) are eligible to vote for their discipline’s Athlete Representative. (Please refer to FEI Internal Regulations Art. 6.9.4 Athletes Committee - Election).

How can one vote?

Via a secured online electronic voting platform, tested and approved by the Equine Community Integrity Unit (ECIU). The Resumés (CVs) received for each candidate will be made available for review on the voting platform.
